How do I win a trip to my dream destination?
Entering is easy, simply fill in the registration form at bloggers.thaiairways.com.au with your details indicating your dream destination, and describing your passion in life (in 25 words or less). You only need to register once. Each month we’ll choose the best entry and arrange to fly the winner to their dream destination!


How long will the Blog promotion run?

We’ll be choosing one winner per month for 7 months from September 2010 through to March 2011. ROP members can start registering from August 2010.


Do I have to register to view the Traveller’s Tales blog site?

No. The Traveller’s Tales blog site is accessible to the general public. However you do need to register for the opportunity of being judged a winner or add any blog content.


What do I have to do if I win a trip?

In return for flying to your dream destination, you will be required to blog about your experiences during your trip. The winner will be required to submit a travel proposal with four (4) interest categories for approval by THAI prior to departure. Once approved, the winner will then be required to submit four (4) blogs for each interest category (16 blogs in total) including related pictures &/or videos during the travel prize (or latest 3 weeks from returning to Australia).


What does the prize include?

The prize includes one (1) return trip to two (2) destinations within the THAI travel network of destinations. The destinations will be the winners nominated ‘dream’ destination and Bangkok as a stopover on the way to/and or from that destination; or 2 destinations within Thailand. The trip includes the following:
(a) economy airfares from the nearest on-line THAI departure city Australia – Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth to your two destinations (one being in Thailand) and then return to the capital city point of departure; and
(b) Up to two (2) nights accommodation in two (destinations) or four (4) nights accommodation in Thailand at a place determined by the Promoter.
(c) Depending on the travellers preferences and interests, transfers, sightseeing and other activities may also be included.


Do I have to stop over in Thailand?
Yes the prize includes at least one stopover in Thailand. Additional stopovers in Thailand can be taken however THAI will only sponsor accommodation in the one location. If you are travelling to an international destination outside of Thailand, Bangkok is the stopover point except if you travel from Perth then you could stopover in Phuket enroute to your international destination.


Can I extend my trip to visit other destinations?
Yes, we are happy for people to extend their trip to visit other places so long as they meet their obligations to supply Blog content as per the promotion terms and conditions.

What additional costs may I have to pay if I win the prize?
Spending money, meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, additional accommodation, food, beverages, items of a personal nature, visas, passports, travel insurance, Government surcharges, levies and taxes for international and domestic air tickets, entry fees, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. As the winner you will be responsible for ensuring that you have valid passports, and any requisite visas, vaccinations and travel documentation. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.


How long is the prize valid?
The travel prize must be taken within six (6) months of winning and between September 2010 and June 2011, and is subject to booking and flight availability. The winner must consult THAI well in advance of their travel plans so that the tickets and itinerary can be booked.


How many trips could I win?
The winner will receive a return trip to their dream THAI destination (within the Thai Airways International network) with a stopover in Thailand. If we like your Blog you could also win a second trip!


Do I have to be a ROP member to register?
Yes the promotion is only open to Australian residents who are: (a) aged 18 years or over as at the time of entry; and (b) Thai Airways International (THAI) Royal Orchid Plus Members (excluding THAI employees, and companies and agencies associated with this promotion).


Will there be any help or support desk if I have questions while travelling?
Yes there will be a dedicated THAI community manager to answer questions via phone and email throughout the promotion period.


Who owns the Blog content?
Winners agree that the Blog content they supply will be owned by THAI and uploaded to the site at THAI’s discretion. In supplying Blog content you acknowledge that it has been personally created by you and that you have obtained the rights to use any material relating to 3rd parties.
